Reminiscent of the tailored looks of the 1950s, Mark Badgley and James Mischka’s Fall 2014 collection mesmerized in an opulent show of gold Tuesday morning at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. This impressive collection, filled with bold brocades, lavish embroidery, and animal print, exudes an attitude of elegance and glitz.

The peplum jacket in a metallic copper tone paired with a tweed pencil skirt, high heeled booties, and leather satchel was “Mad Men” chic to a T. Our favorite evening gowns in this collection were the leopard print chiffon dress with a beaded belt, the blue floral strapless dress, and the sleek white halter dress with a decorative gold bodice.
