With the pulsating beats of St.Vincent performing live at Spring Studios during the runway show, Diane Von Furstenberg put on a presentation to remember for her Fall 2014 collection, which was high on bold patterns, rich hues, and fluid fabrics.
“Bohemian Rhapsody” (the name of the collection) pulsed with striking prints that varied from whimsical speckles to flowing curves. DVF’s first piece, a wrap dress in geometric-print, won us over immediately with its metallic elements followed by the curve-patterned cropped jacket paired with the same dress and printed flare pants made us very anxious for next fall. The show ended with a medley of gold and elegant variations of the wrap, proving DVF’s mastery at creating a fresh interpretation on a classic look.
