DVF Spring 2015 Collection: A 1950s Trip to the Glamorous Côte d’Azur

Diane Von Furstenberg’s Spring 2015 collection presented on Sunday during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week took us on a 1950s trip to the French Riviera with its light, airy fabrics and bold patterns in gingham and floral. Since the age of 19, I’ve admired the elegance and grace of DVF’s clothing line, particularly the dresses which celebrate the female body at any age. For someone like me who lives in a dress, DVF’s masterpiece the wrap dress is the epitome of all things I love about fashion. There’s no flashiness or overexposure but a perfect balance of sophistication, femininity, and tasteful sex appeal. DVF’s Spring 2015 collection maintained that aura of classic style and confidence, which you can’t help but adore, making it especially difficult to choose the top five looks so I got it to a more a manageable 10. Enjoy!
