BCBGMAXAZRIA, celebrating its 25^th anniversary, went for the minimalist approach for its Fall 2014 collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week on Thursday but kept it elegant with luscious furs, asymmetrical maxi skirts, and decorative coral and turquoise elements.

If their collection is any indication of the fall trends for next season, here’s what to look out for:

• poncho dresses (first piece shown in this collection was by far our personal favorite, we’ll take that in a size small please!)
• loose silhouettes
• oversize coats (we’re not in love with this particular style because it’s a bit too masculine for our taste, the exception is when done with a cream colored sheepskin as seen in yesterday’s BCBGMAXAZRIA show)
• round necklines
• color-blocking
• wide-cuff sleeves
• striped trims
• fluffy fabrics
